Certificate of Appreciation Lane Harvey Brown

It is my great pleasure to announce that the Maryland Educational Media Organization (MEMO) has chosen to honor Lane Harvey Brown, a reporter for the Baltimore Sun, with a Certificate of Appreciation for showcasing issues regarding school library media programs in Maryland in the Reading by Nine section of the Sun.
Lane was unable to join us today, but we had a really nice telephone conversation last week. She said that she is honored to be receiving this award and that she is glad to hear that her work is making a difference. MEMO is extremely grateful to her for raising an awareness of these programs to better serve the children of Maryland. The organization is pleased to be giving Lane Harvey Brown this recognition and thanks her for her continued support of Maryland�s school library media.
